V roku 1987 ukončila štúdium na Matematicko – fyzikálnej fakulte UK v Bratislave, odbor matematická analýza a nastúpila ako vedecko-výskumný pracovník na Ústav merania SAV. V roku 1993 obhájila kandidátsku dizertačnú prácu s názvom Nelineárna dynamika vybraných biologických systémov.
V súčasnosti je vedúcou Oddelenia teoretických metód ÚM SAV.
