Research in the Department of Optoelectronic Measurement Methods is focused on the development of modern measurement techniques utilizing optics, electronics, and computer-based signal processing.

Overview of the major research domains:

  • measurement methods using X-ray computed microtomography,
  • optoelectronic methods for measuring deviations of large objects from the vertical axis, applied to monitoring nuclear power plant reactors,
  • optical methods for non-destructive testing of cultural artifacts (infrared reflectography, induced ultraviolet fluorescence).
