Participation in the 27th Conference on Special Inorganic Pigments and Powder Materials, Pardubice (Czech Republic)

  • From October 1st to 2nd, our colleague Melinda Majerová from the Department of Magnetometry participated in the 27th Conference on Special Inorganic Pigments and Powder Materials, which took place in Pardubice (Czech Republic). The conference covered pigments and their applications; the chemical and physical evaluation of pigments and powder materials; and the ecological aspects of the production and use of inorganic pigments. The conference also presented the results of scientific research on ceramics, glass, and ceramic surface treatments, as well as the determination of the amylose content in horse chestnut starch and the nutrient release from fertilizers based on crushed phosphate glasses.
  • As part of an invited lecture, Melinda presented in Pardubice a work entitled: Influence of the composition and preparation method of high-entropy oxides on their magnetic properties.
  • This work was created on the basis of cooperation with the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry SAV (https://uach.sav.sk), the University of Trenčín (FunGlass, https://www.funglass.eu), and Brno University of Technology (https://www.vut.cz).
