International conference ISIC 2026 – 23rd International Symposium on Industrial Crystallization, Budapest

Our colleague from the Magnetometry Department is participating this week in the International conference ISIC 2026 – 23rd International Symposium on Industrial Crystallization, which is taking place in Budapest. The ISIC series, held every three years with the support of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), has become an important source of information in industrial crystallization and provides participants with ample opportunities to establish personal contacts and engage in discussions. The conference has over 300 participants and will feature more than 90 lectures. The conference will feature seven plenary lectures, an extensive program of keynote lectures, three parallel oral sessions, and specialized poster sessions.

Colleague Melinda Majerová presented her work Influence of particle size on thermal behavior and crystallization kinetics of gehlenite glasses. This work was created in cooperation with the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, v.v.i. (https://uach.sav.sk) and the University of Trenčín (FunGlass, https://www.funglass.eu) and was supported by the projects VEGA 2/0077/24, VEGA 2/0104/25, APVV-23-0366 and APVV 23-0424.
