Our colleagues attended the Dynamics Days Europe 2026 conference, which took place in Lisbon this year. The event is one of the leading scientific conferences with a long-standing tradition, with this year marking its 46th edition.
The conference programme brings together theoretical and applied topics in nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, and machine learning. This year, the event welcomed 464 participants from 45 countries.
Our colleagues contributed to the scientific programme with three talks and a poster. As part of the minisymposium Causality in Complex Systems: Challenges and Advanced Methods, organised by our long-standing collaborator Milan Paluš and Stéphane Vannitsem, Anna Krakovská talked about Causal Links in Dynamical Networks Revealed by Intrinsic Dimensionality. In the same minisymposium, Jozef Jakubík presented Causality Detection on Challenging Datasets.
Hana Krakovská gave a talk entitled Value-Based Hierarchy and the Evolution of Fairness in Networked Ultimatum Game, while PhD student Rado Košta presented a poster entitled Complexity-Driven Classification of ECG Signals: A Study on Healthy Subjects and Cardiac Patients.
The conference gave our colleagues an opportunity to present their research results, exchange ideas with experts from different countries, establish new scientific contacts, and strengthen existing collaborations.
