Optoelectronic systems for automated measurement of reactor tilt in the Slovak nuclear power plants Jaslovské Bohunice and Mochovce
In the Department of Optoelectronic Measurement Methods of the Institute of Measurement of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, measuring systems for automated tilt measurement of reactor vessels of nuclear power plants in Jaslovské Bohunice and Mochovce have been continuously developed and are currently in operation. Measuring systems are based on the principles of hydronalization and pendametry with optoelectronic reading of measured values. These metering systems are in continuous operation and are calibrated twice a year by the on-site staff, which contributes to raising the operational safety standards of these nuclear power plants.
