Commissioning of the optoelectronic system for automated tilt measurement of the reactor of the third unit in the Mochovce nuclear power plant
A measuring system for automated measurement of the tilt of the reactor vessel of the third unit was developed in the Department of Optoelectronic Measurement Methods of the Institute of SAV Measurement and in 2022, together with the third unit of the Mochovce nuclear power plant, it is put into continuous operation. This measuring system uses the principle of hydroleveling and pendametry with optoelectronic sensing of measured values with a resolution of measuring the height of the level and the displacement of the pendameter hinge at the level of 1 micrometer. The measuring system is already in continuous operation and contributes to increasing the safety standards of the operation of the nuclear power plant in Mochovce.
