European Night of Researchers in Slovakia 2019
On September 27, 2019, the 13th year of the prestigious science festival in Slovakia took place.
The main event of the science festival took place in the premises of the Old Market Square, while at the same time accompanying events took place in other locations within Bratislava. The content of the event consisted of interactive presentations of researchers and innovators, in the form of scientific stands, lectures, workshops, discussions, with the main program on the stage.
Two research stands from the Institute of Measurement Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences were presented under the leadership of prof. Ing. Ivan Frollo, DrSc. entitled “Life in a Magnetic Field” (video) and Mgr. Michal Teplan, PhD. entitled “Do electromagnetic fields affect cell life?”
This year’s Researchers’ Night also provided a lot of great experiences, technical innovations and lectures by Slovak scientists. The atmosphere of the event and the great interest of visitors in the presentations of the Institute of Measurement Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences is illustrated by a short video Researchers’ Night 2019 (sound in Slovak) and published news from SAS – Cells in the lead role.
