Technical Computing Camp best project award for our doctoral student Ing. Iveta Pajanová

Our doctoral student Ing. Iveta Pajanová won the award for the best user project at the 11th Technical Computing Camp, which took place at the beginning of September 2024 in Brno.

Her project, titled “Measuring the Creatine Kinase Reaction Rate in the Heart Using Compartmentalized Phosphorus MR Spectroscopy,” represents a major step forward in medical imaging.

Using advanced algorithms for post processing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data in the Matlab program environment, a new tool was developed that provides doctors with valuable information for the diagnosis of heart diseases.

The project was implemented as part of international cooperation with the University of Oxford and the associated MR research center (Oxford Center for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research), and supervised by Assoc. prof. Ing. Ladislav Valkovič, PhD. More information about Technical Computing Camp 2024 here.
