Annotation:
The topic of the dissertation thesis is the measurement of dimensions of small 3D object using X-ray microtomography. The doctoral candidate should consider the design of the calibration methods of measurement, analysis and evaluation of uncertainties of the microtomographic measurement of geometric quantities of three-dimensional objects (micro-dimensions, surface, volume, and angle), porosity and dimensional analysis of the inner structure of materials. The candidate is expected to have basic knowledge in the area of imaging measurement methods using X-ray radiation, evaluation of measurement uncertainty, and knowledge of professional English. Within the doctoral study, the PhD student will extend his knowledge in the field of X-ray computerized tomography methods of measurement, image processing, analysis and evaluation of measurement uncertainties.
