Abstract

Back pain in today’s modern population is becoming a part of the lifestyle. We are looking for ways to do sports to prevent back pain, and we do sports at the cost of back pain. We have sedentary or physically demanding jobs, and we compare each other who has more and less back pain, who is helping yoga, who is acupuncture, and who has a trainer, and who is a physiotherapist. There are many guaranteed ways on the internet to do and not to avoid having problems with your back. Television advertisements and many medical workplaces give us new and new information on great methods on a daily basis that will give our back pain immediate farewell. Part of the population dares to harass doctors and their surroundings with back pain in order to maintain their disability pension. Statistics from countries around the world confirm that the better the welfare system in the country, the higher the percentage of the population is on disability pension.

The aim of our presentation is to realistically inform about the current state of diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of pain syndromes in the Slovak and Czech Republic, to show clinical intersections between different specializations with a view to explaining precise techniques of interventional pain treatment. An important factor in medical decision-making in modern back pain management is not only the clinical but also the time efficiency of the treatment process. Many patients require a quick return to working life.
