Hydrostatic Optoelectronic Levelling MEasurement System
Hydrostatic digital height gauge HOLMES is designed for automated measurement of height differences between measured points by the hydrostatic levelling method. HOLMES provides precise long term height position measurement of large objects in civil engineering and machine industry, such as reactors in nuclear power plants, high energy particle accelerators etc.
Its function is based on the principle of jointed vessels. The position of common liquid level in the sensors is measured by optoeelectronic method using CCD line image sensors. Numeric value of height differences between sensors bases is computed by original algorithm.
Personal computer is the central unit of this multiprocessor measuring system with distributed intelligence and permits programmable automated measurements e.g. the time dependence of measured points height changes with screen display, storage and printout ability of measurement results.
Our original software may be modified according to user´s requirements.
