Within the European Weak of Science and Technology an Open Doors Day will be organized on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in the Institute of Measurement Science SAS in Bratislava. Program of the Day of Open Doors:

Introducing the Institute and presentations of selected research topics

Speaker: Dr. Tyšler, director of the Institute

Place:      IMS SAS, Dúbravská cesta 9, Bratislava, Seminar room on the 4th floor

Time:       from 9:30 to 10:00

Excursions to selected laboratories, introduction of new technologies and examples of scientific results

Time:  from 10:00 to 15:00, excursions start every hour

Place: laboratories according individual selection:

  - Laboratories of the National NMR Center (rooms.009 to 012)

  - Laboratory of X-ray microtomography (room 002)

  - Laboratory of optoelectronic measuring methods (room 005)

  - Laboratory for measurement of weak magnetic fields (departures from the institute entrance)

  - Laboratory of biomeasurements (room 506)

  - Laboratory of the department of theoretical methods (room 229)
