PhD study program

5.2.54 MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY

as external educational institution of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak University of Technology (FEEIT SUT) in Bratislava

Guarantor of the study: prof. Ing. Alexander Šatka, PhD.

Forms of the study and its completion:

Three-year daily form of four-year external study form.

Completion of the study by defence of the PhD thesis and gaining the PhD degree in accordance with the Slovak Higher Education Act No. 131/2002.

Information for applicants:

• Required quialification: finished university education level 2, focused on engineering technologies or natural sciences (electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, physics, mathematical statistics or similar), interest increative scientific work.

• Application for the study: until May 31, 2017. Applications should be submitted electronically using the information system of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava located on the page http://is.stuba.sk/prihlaska/?lang=en.

• Date of the entrance interviews: June 20, 2017. Applcants will be invited to exact time and place. Interviews with foreign students can be done electronically using internet tools (e.g. Skype). The interviews will include question from mathematics, physics and from the selected topic of the PhD study.

• Enrollment for the study: will be specifid later, it will be at the FEEIT SUT in Bratislava 

• Begin of the study: September 2, 2017 in the IMS SAS.

PhD study of the selected topics will take place in the Institute of Measurement Science SAS. The entrance interviews for the study program "Measurement Technology" will be organized together for students from FEEIT SUT and IMS SAS.
