ProCardio 8 - new generation of the device for multichannel measurement and analysis of the cardiac electric field |
ProCardio 8 mapping system was developed in the Institute of Measurement
Science SAS and represents new generation of the device for
multichannel ECG measurement and topographical representation of the
cardiac electric field on the body surface used for diagnostics of
cardiac disea ses.
In comparison to its predecessors, it enables measurement in more
simultaneous channels, is powered from a Li-ion cell, uses active
electrodes and 22-bit AD converters for each measuring
channel, measuring unit is optically isolated and connected to the USB
port of a host PC running completely reworked software.
Number of measured ECG channels:
- 4+128 (modular in blocks of 16)
Parameters of the measuring unit:
Connection to PC:
- USB interface with optical isolation
- Transfer up to 1 Mbit/s
Power supply:
- Li-ion cell (3,7 V, 4,7 Ah) in protective package
- Charging from power line 230V / 50 Hz otside the device
ProCardio 8 functions:
-
ECG a VCG measurement - the device enables simultaneous recording of up to 128 chest leads and additional 3 limb leads. All signals are recorded relatively to a relocatable reference electrode (common mode sense - CMS), ECG leads are computed by the software. Important change in comparison with the previous generation of the device is the possibility to use active sensing electrodes.
-
ECG processing and analysis - Automated and interactive ECG processing includes baseline correction, digital filtering, identification of ventricular complexes and signal averaging. ECG signals can be displayed in several modes and formats.
-
Body surface potential mapping - The device can compute instantaneous potential maps that can be displayed and printed in several formats. Map animation on the display is also possible.
-
Isointegral mapping - Values for integral maps are computed as integrals od ECG potentials in mapped points over selected time interval. The maps can be diplayed or printed in several formats.
-
Departure integral mapping - Enables to compute and display departure integral maps as departures from predefined templates (mean integral maps) of groups of probants.
